Hi, I'm Christian. For over 30 years, the world of martial arts has been my home, and since 2001 I have been sharing that experience in Munich. My teaching has grown from encounters with more than 30 styles.

Today I connect authentic Kung Fu with precise body work and practical application. You learn structure, timing, and internal principles through direct experience rather than rigid imitation.

My Roots

A lifelong fascination with the art of movement

My journey began in 1983 with a simple question: What is true strength? Is it raw muscular power — which fades with age — or the intelligent, supple strength that grows throughout a lifetime?

My search led me through more than 30 styles, but it was the teachings of Grandmaster Chee Kim Thong that gave me the answer. In Wuzu Quan and Wuji Quan I found the essence: Geng — explosive force from complete relaxation, precise timing, and inner stillness.

My interest in anatomy later led me to osteopathy and Traditional Chinese Medicine; I also work as a Heilpraktiker. These qualifications belong to my separate practice. Soul of Kung Fu is clearly separate: here I teach martial arts and Qi Gong; diagnosis and treatment are not part of the offer.

The Connection

Tradition meets precise body work

My teaching connects traditional martial art with close observation of movement. We work on stance, structure, breathing, timing, and how a technique functions in partner training.

Knowledge of anatomy helps me explain movement clearly and adapt variations to different starting points. The focus always remains on learning the art.

I look beyond form to direction, tension, distance, and timing. That creates a technique you can understand and test for yourself.

My goal is to pass on an art with substance that can be studied for a lifetime. We also work with the traditional language of Qi, Yi, and Shen.

My Teaching Philosophy

No rigid programme. Only your path.

With me there are no belt gradings or rigid syllabi. Everyone learns differently, whether you seek self-defence, want to refine your movement, or simply discover the joy of the art.

No belt or grading system

You train for yourself — not for a badge.

No one-size-fits-all programme

Adapted to your strengths, limitations, build, and interests.

No competition

No tournaments, no exhausting for the sake of exhausting.

100% individual

Your pace, your focus, your path — guided by over 30 years of experience.
